School traffic risk link with finishing time of students

ROCKHAMPTON Regional Council will write to Glenmore State Primary School requesting they revisit their recent decision to align the finishing time of students due to the impact it is having on traffic in the area.

Councillor Stephen Schwarten was contacted by a citizen raising the traffic problem at the school which, it is suggested, is becoming worse for parents who pick their children up from the school.
