A TWO-day search triggered by a fresh lead for missing mother Tina Greer finished yesterday without result.

Police and SES crews trawled 600ha of bushland off Wilsons Rd, south of Aratula, after they received information a blue ute had been seen in the area following Ms Greer's disappearance on January 18.

A cadaver dog and the Stock Quad were called in to join a team of 27 SES volunteers and six Ipswich police officers to follow creek lines and property boundaries in search of remains.

Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Gary Dixon of Ipswich police said police divers finished searching a number of dams and watercourses in the area yesterday.

"There's no significant information that her remains are here," Snr Sgt Dixon said.

"We're keeping an open mind. She is listed as a missing person and until we locate her she will remain a missing person."

He said police were doing everything possible to find Ms Greer, who was last seen in the Beechmont area on January 18. Police had spoken to Ms Greer's boyfriend, a member of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang, but said he had given no useful information.

The latest search site is 3km from Governor's Chair Lookout, where Ms Greer's car was found and within a few kilometres of her boyfriend's house, where police believe she had been. Detective Inspector Lew Strohfeldt said it has been some time since police had received any new leads.

"If anyone in the area has seen a blue utility in the Spicer's Gap Rd area from January 18 onwards, we ask them to contact Crime Stoppers," he said.

Anyone with information that could assist police should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
