ASOS’ epic swimsuit fail

WHEN you buy a swimsuit, it goes without saying you'd expect to wear it in the pool or to the beach.

But ASOS has left shoppers baffled after unveiling a jewel-encrusted one-piece that can't be worn in water.

The £35 ($AU62) black and white cossie by Pretty Little Thing features a Bardot neck, studded embellishment and a high-cut leg.

But Twitter user Amna, from Glasgow, Scotland spotted that the costume can't be worn in water and shared snaps of the bizarre description online.

She wrote: "Can someone explain to ASOS how swimsuits work please?"

Social media users were left confused, with one joking: "Have I been using swimsuits for the wrong purpose all these years?!"

While another said: "I think you simply Photoshop some water behind yourself."

Not only can you not wear it in the sea, but this swimsuit is also dry clean only.

But this isn't the first bonkers item to be spotted on ASOS.
