Singapore PM lands in Rocky to see troops at Shoalwater Bay

It's not everyday a Prime Minister visits Rockhampton, but today the region has received the Singapore PM Lee Hsien Long.

Mr Lee arrived at the Rockhampton Airport at 10.55am and was greeted by Mayor Margaret Strelow.

He is visiting to observe the Singapore Armed Forces taking part in Exercise Wallaby at Shoalwater Bay.

Mr Lee will also attend meetings in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney while in Australia.
