
Sixth drug raid uncovers 91 marijuana plants at Moore Park
Police have seized more than 90 cannabis plants with an estimated value of $270,000 and charged three males with drug offences following an 18-month operation in Bundaberg.
Police executed search warrants at three Bundaberg addresses yesterday.
At the first property on Manoo Road, at Sharon, police allegedly located a quantity of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
Police charged a 55-year-old male with one count each of producing a dangerous drug, possessing a drug and possessing a utensil.
Police also charged a 41-year-old male with one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
These two men will appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on August 4, 2014.
Police then executed a second warrant at the home of the third male on Lindemans Road, Moore Park Beach where they will allege they located 91 cannabis plants and other drug-related evidence.
The 43-year-old male was charged with seven drug-related offences including unlawful trafficking of a dangerous drug and producing a dangerous drug.
They also seized property including vehicles, car parts and a trailer.
He is expected to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.
Yesterday's drug raid was the sixth to be carried out in the region in a little more than a week.
