Kasai wins Olympic Ski Jump silver at 41-years-old

JAPANESE veteran Noriaki Kasai has finished just short of being the oldest gold medal winner in Winter Olympic history after jumping into second in the men's large hill ski jump final.

Kasai, 41, appearing in his seventh Games, was just 1.3 points behind Poland's Kamil Stoch, who won his second gold of the Sochi Games with a final score of 278.7.

Stoch, 26, added to his win in the men's normal hill competition on Monday.
