Snake catcher finds his photo in Australian 'porn' mag

COAST snake Catcher Stuart McKenzie is used to the media following his every move, being in the bold and daring profession he is in.

But when Mr McKenzie received a message from one of his followers showing him the latest news story he had featured in, he did a double take.

The snake-catcher found himself looking at the latest edition of The Picture - one of Australia's most popular pornographic magazines.

Among pictures of naked women inside the magazine, was a photo of himself holding a snake he relocated from a Coast family's home a few weeks prior.

Unsure whether to laugh or cry about the publication, Mr McKenzie said he had "mixed feelings" about featuring in the magazine.

"When I first got the message from one of my followers all I saw was my picture and I didn't really think anything of it," he said.

"Being a snake catcher, there are articles written or published about what you are doing all the time.

"But in the screenshot I was sent, I could see a pair of woman's legs, but not much else, just above my article.

The mysterious legs piqued Mr McKenzie's interest as to what magazine he had featured in.

"Then the follower sent me a photo of the front cover," Mr McKenzie laughed.

"I wasn't really sure how to feel about it, I suppose any advertising is good advertising.

"It's not really a massive drama, I would only see it as an issue if the publication made any links to porn in the article.

"But the story is separate... I guess we just have to laugh about it."
