Snap into healthy living with Body Transformation Challenge

SWAPPING cake for kale and the couch for the cross trainer can be a daunting idea for many.

But SnapFitness Rockhampton is making the first step towards a healthy lifestyle a little easier through their 31 Day Body Transformation Challenge.

SnapFitness Rockhampton club manager Luci Blanchard said with fantastic results in past challenges, the club decided to add an extra twist to their next fitness test.

"We are looking to sponsor someone in the Rockhampton region to do the challenge," Ms Blanchard said.

"We are looking for people to nominate friends or family members who need it but can't afford it, or aren't motivated. In their nomination, they have to explain why they think that person needs the challenge."

Ms Blanchard said the 31 day challenge would include a range of factors.

"The challenge runs from April 23 - May 23 and all the information you'll need is supplied such as recipe books and training plans," she said.

"The nutrition guide is also provided and that's the main focus of the challenge, educating people on how to eat healthy and make better choices and understand why they eat the foods that they eat and when.

"We have a high focus on filling out food diaries. We also have training sessions for participants only and access to full PT discounts.

"Basically it's giving people a guide to get started. It's an introduction to their weight-loss journey."

To register for the challenge or to nominate a friend to be sponsored, contact SnapFitness Rockhampton by April 20.
