THERE will be an international flavour to the entertainment when the Rockhampton Musical Union Choir holds its annual afternoon tea in June, themed Songs from around the World.
Conductor Christine Netherwood has chosen music from various countries for the choir to perform, including New York, New York, A Scottish Medley and I Still Call Australia Home, as well as an authentic Irish ballad from our resident Irishman Glenn Beattie.
Soloists from the choir will also entertain.
A delicious afternoon tea will be served. Competitions, lucky door, raffle and a multi-draw will give patrons a chance to win prizes.
The date for the afternoon is Sunday, June 21, starting at 1.30pm.
The venue is the RMU Hall in Denison St (opposite Rocky Toyota).
Table bookings can be made by phoning Elaine Watson on 4928 4669.
