Songs of Minelli and Garland will feature at theatre

TAKE a trip from Hollywood to Broadway without leaving the comfort of your seat at the last Morning Melodies for 2015 at the Pilbeam Theatre.

Internationally renowned vocalist Karen Beckett, will perform some of the greatest songs of the 20th century from theatre and cinema.

Karen's vocal ability and her charming personality have impressed audiences the world over. Whether she is entertaining audiences on prestigious cruise liners such as the QE2 or dazzling them at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Karen's show is must-see.

She will perform songs by the legends of stage and screen including Judy Garland, Liza Minelli, Barbara Streisand, Edith Piaf, Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Bassey, Rosemary Clooney Julie Andrews and a few surprises!

In addition to having performed in Australia and overseas, Karen is a three time winner of Variety Female Vocalist of the Year (Mo Award) and three time winner of Female Vocal Performer of the Year Australian Entertainment Award (ACE).

Morning Melodies is presented by Rockhampton Regional Council and Bolsover Radiology.

There will be a free morning tea, provided by Brumby's Allenstown, before the show.
