10 inline hockey players from Rocky selected to play for NQ

THE region's best inline hockey players hope they are in line for a Queensland team berth.

Ten inline hockey players from Rocky Skate Club were selected to play for North Queensland at the Skate Queensland Inline Hockey State Championships in Brisbane starting tomorrow.

Rockhampton will be represented in the North Queensland under-11 team by Tara Daniels and Fletcher Holliday, while Ayden Scott suits up for NQ in the under-13 team.

Mitchell Pailthorpe has a busy carnival ahead of him after he was named in the under-15 and under-17 team.

He will be joined in the under-17 team by Lachlan Greening, while in the senior ranks, Jessica Misso, Kayley Ross and Matthew Scott will play for NQ in the senior B division.

Jason Kruger and Ken O'Callaghan will push their claims for Queensland selection in the senior A division.

Rockhampton player Hayden Pailthorpe will be competing at the tournament for a Brisbane team.

Selectors will pick Queensland teams in each division to compete at the Australian Championships in Victoria later in the year.
