State showdown on My Kitchen Rules

TONIGHT'S My Kitchen Rules grand final is a showdown between South Australians Nic Mazzone and Rocco La Bella and Leigh Sexton and Jennifer Evans.

The intra-state rivalry was determined last night after Mazzone and La Bella narrowly beat sisters Carly and Emily Cheung, from Victoria, by just one point.

Tonight's final cook-off is expected to be just as closely fought with the guys' attention to detail going up against the girls' creativity.

The two-hour viewing feast is also expected to surpass last year's grand final to set a new ratings record for the reality cooking series.

The pressure will be on the two young teams as they must prepare a five-course menu for a full restaurant, equating to 100 plates to serve per team.

Judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel have made it clear the team that handles the pressure the best will win the crown.

The winner will take home $250,000 in prize money.

The My Kitchen Rules grand final starts at 7.30pm tonight on Channel Seven.
