Stockland launches shopping app

THE ultimate shopping experience is now at the touch of a button, thanks to the launch of Stockland Rockhampton's free smartphone app My Stockland.

The location-based app provides shoppers with centre promotions and new store details, as well as tools such as a shopping list pad and savings calculator.

Assistant marketing manager for Stockland Rockhampton Karlie Williams said she was "absolutely excited" about the launch of the app. "It will make shopping so much easier for customers," she said.

"The functionality of it is fabulous, but also the link to prizes and competitions we are running."

Stockland Rockhampton will also be able to interact and respond to customer queries via the app's feedback tool that allows customers to communicate directly with centre management.

To celebrate the new app, Stockland has launched a Treasure Trackers competition, in which shoppers play a virtual reality game to win prizes.

After downloading the app from the Apple Store, customers register their details in the Treasure Trackers section to track Stockland gift cards, which will be randomly dropped within a 15km radius of Stockland Rockhampton.

Winners will receive a redemption code and invitation to collect their gift cards from the corresponding shopping centre during the competition period, which ends on Thursday.

"It's giving power back to the customers," Ms Williams said.

"Now they will be able to see everything happening at Stockland Rockhampton."
