More than 1,000 people attended the Emerald  Rural Weekly PBR on Saturday night at Alan McIndoe Park in Emerald.

A storm threatened the event early, but fortunately held off for CJ Gleeson riding Voodoo Bayou.

More than half the spectators stayed on after the bull riding to enjoy the after party entertainment by local girl Tameaka Powell, dancing the night away until midnight.
