Our stunning Sarah’s New York fashion success

SHE sashayed on the runway during Couture Fashion Week in New York, interviewed models and designers and now Sarah Spain is back home to ponder the offers she's received.

The 20 year old was in New York early this month after she was handpicked to be the face of Couture Fashion Week New York by its founder, designer Andres Aquino.

She walked for two designers - Mr Aquino and Dawn Sunflower.

"It was the first time on the catwalk and I had the most amazing experience," Sarah said.

"Everything went so fast that I don't remember walking on the runway.

"I'm surprised I did well. I received a lot of positive feedback.

"The designers and models compared me to professional models and they couldn't believe that it was my first time."

Before returning to Hervey Bay, the former Xavier Catholic College student took on a gig hosting an official launch event for a modelling company.

"I've also picked up jobs with different photographers in New York and received about four offers from multiple modelling agencies and I want to think carefully before deciding on the right one," she said.

Sarah's next step is to move to New York soon to launch her modelling career.

"I've got better confidence now, especially after receiving praises from people who say I've got a very unique individual look and have the potential to go far in the industry.
