Suncorp team smiling after bank relocates to new Rocky site

YOU couldn't wipe the smile off Donna Turner's face yesterday morning.

Donna is Suncorp's area manager for Central Queensland and she was delighted about the bank's new premises in Rockhampton.

The bank has relocated from its former site on East St, moving into a new spacious building on the corner of Bolsover and Archer streets.

"There's no comparison between the old and new building," Ms Turner said.

"This space is much larger, with customer parking in the back."

The old East St office had been Suncorp's business banking and regional office for 30 years, while a temporary branch had been there for the past 12 months.

The new building has plenty to offer customers, with internet banking facilities, ATMs and conference facilities.

The three conference rooms will also be available for Suncorp Bank agribusiness and business customers. Regional general manager for CQ Troy Constance said it was another way the bank could support customers.

"Everybody is aware of the cost pressures in agribusiness and business, this is a service that will help to reduce costs," Mr Constance said.

Suncorp staff and clients celebrated at the official opening yesterday.
