A PEACE activist who appeared in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning was slapped fines just under $1000 after he snuck into Shoalwater Bay to disrupt proceedings in exercise Talisman Saber 2013.
The man, Graeme Dunstan, has been cautioned he will serve 10 days in prison if he doesn't pay the court ordered fines.
The court heard this morning he infiltrated Commonwealth land to highlight the need to slow down on war activities.
A fellow activist, Greg Rolles, also appeared in court this morning but his matter was adjourned to early next month because he was scheduled to fly back to Brisbane next week.
