Teen arrested for carrying 'firearm' on Rocky streets today

A YOUTH has been taken into custody after brandishing what was thought to be a handgun on a Rockhampton street this morning.

At 10.50am, concerned members of the public called police, after seeing the 17-year-old on Knight St with a silver handgun type firearm.

The youth has been charged with a number of firearm related offences.
