
Teen helicoptered after road crash now in stable condition
UPDATE: A WARWICK man injured in an accident on Saturday morning at Glengallan is now in a stable condition in Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
The 17-year-old was airlifted to hospital after his vehicle left the road and hit a concrete barrier at 1am Saturday.
Warwick police said while the accident on Saturday morning was still being investigated, police warned motorists of the need to drive with more attention and care for the road conditions and be rested prior to commencing a journey.
SATURDAY: A SOUTHERN Downs teen has been flown to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on the New England Hwy near Warwick overnight.
Emergency services reported the car the 17-year-old male was in had left the rolled and crashed in a ditch off the New England Hwy, 1km south of the eight mile intersection at about 2.30am.
The teen suffered serious arm, leg and abdominal injuries and was flown by the Toowoomba CareFlight helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
