Teen keen on books and snaps up bargains at the Book Fair
BRANDON Bradshaw is probably the opposite of most young teenagers - he likes to do his homework and read his books.
Brandon, 12, was back again this year for the annual Lifeline Book Fair, which at the weekend was abuzz with keen bookworms and bargainers looking for some conveniently priced clothing.
This year the book fair shipped in 16.5 tonnes of rare, hard covered and paperback reads.
Business manager Belinda Bath said she hoped Lifeline this year raised $30,000 from sales.
Brandon, who is a Rockhampton Grammar student, didn't mind guiding avid readers around the Rockhampton Showgrounds to find the right collection.
Did you go to the Book Fair? What gems did you pick up?
