UPDATE: A boy was taken to Rockhampton Hospital this afternoon after reportedly being bitten by a snake at a boat ramp area in North Rockhampton.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the patient was in a stable condition.
Paramedics were dispatched to Reaney St at 3.57pm.
Initial reports suggested the victim was a male teenager.
No other details were available.
