Terrible news for Australia's largest family

AUSTRALIA'S largest family has shared some devastating news about one of their own.

Toowoomba's Jeni Bonell, who has 16 children with husband Ray, took to social media to announced she had been diagnosed with cancer.

"We have news to share but unfortunately it's not good news," Ms Bonell said.

"I have recently been given a cancer diagnosis.

"We ask that you please keep me, Ray and all our kids in prayer as we walk through this together as a family."

Ms Bonell said her surgery had been booked and they had a plan in place.

"I'm trusting God will place me in skilled hands and we will have a good outcome," she said.

"We appreciate your love and support and have been so overwhelmed by everyone's kindness."

Since announcing the news last week, the Bonell Family's Facebook page, which is followed by more than 3600 people, has been overwhelmed with support.

The family thanked everyone for their prayers and said they would keep everyone updated.
