A ROCKHAMPTON pharmacy owner has been awarded for his hard work.
Brendon Reck, who owns two Terry White Chemists in Stockland, won the Terry White Chemists' leadership award. He received the award at a gala event on the Gold Coast last month.
"The great thing about the award is that it reflects all the hard work I've put into the pharmacy," Mr Reck said.
He has owned the pharmacy for eight and a half years.
"As a pharmacist, I enjoy the interaction with customers and being able to help them with their health issues and seeing improvements - that's very rewarding," Mr Reck said.
"As a business owner I really love doing deals and putting things together and speaking with suppliers.
"We have what I would consider to be the most talented pharmacy teams around and it is through their hard work that we are able to make great steps into improving the health of our customers."
Terry White Chemists CEO Anthony White said Mr Reck epitomised the brand's values and philosophies.
"Brendon started as a promising work experience student and 21 years later remains as enthusiastic and motivated as ever when it comes to delivering best practice community health careand to making a tangible difference in the lives of his customers."
