The big blue bus has some issues but is in region this week

MECHANICAL issues have temporarily stopped beyondblue's big blue bus in its tracks.

After travelling 34,000km across Australia for the National Roadshow, the 34-year-old bus needed some TLC but it is hoped the bus will be back on the road towards the end of Mental Health Week (October 5-12).

beyondblue CEO Georgie Harman said the Roadshow must go on and a smaller bus has started travelling north to attend community events planned in the Central Queensland Medicare Local region. "We're sending her little brother north to take over duties. He may be half the size, but he has just as big a heart," she said.

beyondblue will be in the CQ region this week. If you are dealing with depression or anxiety call beyondblue on 1300 224 636 for support.
