Third cycling identity to be involved in vehicle collision
BRITISH cyclist Mark Cavendish is the latest cycling identity to be involved in a collision with a car while on a training ride.
The 2011 world road race champion tweeted that he had run into the back of a car that slammed on its brakes in front of him while training in Italy.
He posted on Twitter: "Apart from a bruised arm, I'm relatively ok. If anyone cares."
Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins and British Cycling head coach Brett Sutton have both been involved in recent collisions with cars.
