Thousands flock to Pinefest Parade

THE sun was out and the crowd were all smiles today as Yeppoon celebrates the annual Pineapple Festival.

Thousands graced the town's main street this morning for the parade, with kids and people of all ages keen to check out the attractions.

Grace Scantlebury took out this year's Yeppoon Lion's Pinefest Ambassador crown, after raising a massive $10,950.

The fundraising effort saw her also take out the Charity Award.

The festival will continue to run this afternoon.

Look out for tomorrow's edition of The Morning Bulletin for the full story, and be sure to check online to see if you were snapped at the event.
