Tiger cancels flights
TIGER Airways today announced the suspension of their service between Melbourne and Rockhampton to "focus on simplifying their route network and restoring reliability".
All flights on this route have been cancelled from August 1 onwards.
Tiger assured passengers with flights booked would be contacted and provided with a full refund.
The budget airline said their flights to Mackay and Rockhampton had been affected by rising oil prices and the recent Queensland natural disasters.
Tiger's flights between Melbourne and Mackay, Brisbane and Sydney, and the Sunshine Coast and Sydney have also been cancelled.
