Time to give queues the flick
ROCKY'S Penny Corbin wants to put Birch Carroll and Coyle in the picture.
She's frustrated at the length of time it takes to reach the front of the cinema queue, saying she missed the beginning of the last two movies she went to.
Penny said she didn't want to pay extra to jump the queue by buying online tickets and thought people purchasing food and drinks slowed down the queuing process.
"We have to wait while nearly everyone in the line buys coffee and popcorn as well as their tickets. This holds up everyone," Penny said.
"I usually just want a ticket and I don't understand why there isn't a line for just tickets."
A cinema spokesperson said there was a designated area for customers to purchase food and drink.
"We have facilities like the Gob Shop which is our designated food and drink area which we encourage people to use," the spokesperson said.
"We are hoping people use the designated areas on the school holidays when things pick up."
