MISTER Versatility, William Zillman, has signed a new five-year contract with the Gold Coast Titans.
The 25-year-old, who has been pegged for the fullback role with the Titans, is equally at home playing in the halves, centres or on the wing - that makes him a tremendous asset to the Titans as they campaign in the National Rugby League.
That versatility was one of the main reasons why the Titans decided to lock-him up for what should be the duration of his career in the NRL.
Coach, John Cartwright, said he was "thrilled" that Zillman had signed on the dotted line.
"Not only is William a terrific footballer he's also great to have around the place - I think he is a future leader," Cartwright said.
"He is the sought of guy you can build a club around.
"Having someone with his versatility gives us plenty of options if there are injuries in the backline.
"I think his best value for us at the moment is at fullback and that's where he'll stay for the foreseeable future."
Zillman was "rapt" is securing the long-term contract.
"I'm really happy here at the Titans and I'm excited about what's in store for the future of the club," Zillman said.
"It's nice to have my future all wrapped up so I can focus on my football and what we're trying to achieve here on the Gold Coast."
Since joining the club from the Canberra Raiders in 2009, Zillman has played 69 matches for the Titans and crossed for 23 tries.
