CQ grazier Graeme Acton panelist for Global Food Forum
TODAY Central Queensland grazier Graeme Acton will be taking part in the Global Food Forum in Sydney, where he has been invited as a panelist.
Graeme will discuss building infrastructure to meet Asia's demand.
He said he has been hearing talk about Australia becoming the food bowl of Asia for around 20 years, and he finally believes it's starting to come to fruition.
"There's a terrific demand for food in Asia, particularly in China … with the rise of the middle class," he said.
"Australian needs to be able to generate or raise the capital to do massive infrastructure developments without the hindrance of red tape," he said.
