DASH CAM footage has emerged online showing a Toowoomba driver causing chaos on Ruthven St.

The video, posted to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page, shows the driver casually driving into oncoming traffic on one of Toowoomba's busiest streets.

The video was taken by Jo Dee Harris on March 5 at 2.51pm and shows drivers swerving in the rain to avoid a head-on collision.

The car eventually pulls into the correct lane after multiple vehicles on the other side of the road were forced to dodge the oncoming motorist.

This is not the first time a driver has been caught driving poorly on camera on Ruthven St.

Last June, footage appeared online of a two-car collision where a driver was attempting to pull into the Hungry Jacks car park.

In 2016 there was more mayhem captured on camera, as a man and a stray trolley were seen dodging traffic on Ruthven St.
