TOOWOOMBA is home to one of Queensland's ultimate eating challenges that sorts out the roosters from the chickens.

It is so extreme, only five people have successfully conquered it.

Italian restaurant Woggies' chicken parmigiana challenge serves up a mammoth 1.3kg chicken fillet that has been crumbed, fried and smothered with a smorgasbord of toppings.

That includes a pile of olives, a slab of prosciutto, Napoli sauce and bocconcini sauce - oh, and don't forget the 600g side of chips.

Contestants have an hour to consume the $69  parmigiana and if successful get a bottle of wine or free dessert, plus their name and photo on a wall of fame.

Too chicken to take on a parmigiana? Don't get ruffled, a new eating challenge is on its way.

Woggies will this month launch its pork belly challenge in which the brave have half an hour to consume an 800g slab of pork belly, five duck-fat roasted potatoes and 300ml of apple sauce.
