Gran's life support may be turned off

THE condition of the Rockhampton grandma allegedly bashed and raped on Australia Day remained unchanged at the weekend.

Today the family will have to face the tough decision about whether to turn off the 82-year-old’s life support, as doctors have said it is unlikely she will recover from such horrific injuries.

A man, 18, has been charged over the attack and investigations are continuing.
