Traffic lights fail in Sth Rocky creates Christmas back-up

The intersection of Denham and George St in South Rockhampton, near Barra Jacks and McDonalds, has become congested after the traffic lights failed on Christmas morning.
A police officer reported the Denham St lights got stuck on red.
She has cleared the intersection and will control traffic until Main Roads Dept can fix the lights.
