Highway reopens after overnight truck fire
UPDATE 1.40PM: The Cunningham Hwy has reopened to a single lane at the scene of an overnight truck fire.
Motorist are being let through under traffic control.
The truck carrying ethanol burst into flames about 11pm yesterday. The truck driver escaped the blaze without injury.
EARLIER 8AM: Police are advising motorists of future delays this morning on the Cunningham Highway between Warwick and Inglewood.
About 11pm yesterday, just near Gore, a semi-trailer carrying a full load of ethanol fuel caught fire.
The truck's driver escaped the blaze without injury.
The area is currently contained by emergency crews, however it is believed that the highway will be closed for several hours this morning while the situation is resolved.
Northbound traffic is being diverted along the Millmerran-Inglewood Rd.
Southbound motorists are urged to use the New England Hwy between Warwick and Stanthorpe.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the incident.

EARLIER 6AM: A truck fire has closed the Cunningham Hwy south-west of Toowoomba.
The fire broke out about 12.30 last night near Gore, between Karara and Inglewood.
The highway is closed in both directions. It will remain so until about lunchtime today.
Traffic is being diverted down the Toowoomba-Karara Rd.
The truck driver was not injured.
