Truck rolls near Yeppen

UPDATE 11am: EMERGENCY services are working to remove the truck that rolled on the Bruce Highway at the Yeppen roundabout at 11pm last night.

The refrigerated truck carrying fruit and vegetables has been causing havoc for traffic on the roads and is situated between the Gracemere and Rockhampton turn-offs.

An ambulance spokeswoman said no one from the accident sustained injuries.

Emergency services have called RoadTek, from the Department of Transport and Main Roads, to remove a 10L diesel spill on the road.

 

A TRUCK rolled over on the Bruce Highway, near the Yeppen roundabout last night.

Police reported they were called at 11pm to the accident where a prime mover with a single trailer had rolled on the south-bound lane on the northern side of the roundabout.

The part of the road was shut for a short time while the product from the trailer, which had spilled on the road, was removed.
