Elderly pair in stable condition after Bouldercombe rollover

UPDATE 10.40AM: ONE male and one female were transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital following a crash at Bouldercombe this morning. 

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one male was trapped for some time with finger injuries and possible head injuries after the car he and a female were travelling in rolled four meters down an embankment. 

The female passenger had chest pain which was believed to be most likely caused by a seatbelt. 

The pair were transported to hospital in a stable condition. 

No further information is available at this time. 

EMERGENCY services this morning responded to a single vehicle rollover at Bouldercombe. 

Initial reports suggest around 8.30am, emergency services responded to a vehicle which had rolled down an embankment off the Burnett Highway. 

It is believed two elderly passengers were freed from the vehicle and treated before being transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital for further treatment. 

The extent of their injuries is unknown.
