Two people hospitalised after Mackay dogs attack

TWO people were rushed to Mackay Base Hospital overnight following separate dog attacks.

Just before 6.30pm, Queensland Ambulance service were called to a home at Juliet Street, South Mackay after a person was bitten by a dog.

The person was transported to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition.

QAS were back in action just after 7pm when a person was bitten by a dog at a home in Trinity Parade, Blacks Beach.

The person sustained an arm injury and was transported stable to Mackay Base Hospital.
