Two travelling lads to visit Rockhampton this weekend

ONE pair of travellers who will be watching their social media feeds closely for Rockhampton tips are Max Watson and Will Ross.

The two friends are among eight lucky travellers who have each won an opportunity to drive a leg of a 60 day, 9319 km trip across Australia.

After submitting a video showing Avis why they would make the best tour guides, the duo were chosen to drive the fourth and final leg of the journey from Sydney to Cairns and will stop at 15 towns and cities including Rockhampton over the weekend.

The boys arrive Saturday and will be departing Sunday.

Max said the pair were keen to make the most of their time in area.

"This is the first time either of us have visited the area and we'd to love to hear some insider suggestions on where we should visit and what we should do," he said.
