PUBLIC services union Together is rolling out a set of attack advertisements criticising Premier Campbell Newman and Prime Minister Tony Abbott's health policies, but they are not the real targets.

Together Union secretary Alex Scott said the $200,000 campaign was to put pressure on Greens, Labor and Palmer United Party senators to block any government proposals to introduce a co-payment for GP visits.

"We know horse trading is going to happen," Mr Scott said.

"We want to make sure if there are negotiations entered into around these matters, that the current position of the Greens and Palmer are in opposition to the co-payment."
