UPDATE: A SPOKESPERSON from the Queensland Police Service this morning confirmed no one had been charged or arrested over a disturbing alleged incident in Yeppoon yesterday morning.

QPS received two complaints after a woman was allegedly harassed by a man outside the Sailing Club.

The woman claimed the man pulled up beside her in his car and was masturbating, before stopping alongside other women running near the Surf Life Saving Club.

UPDATE: A SPOKESPERSON from the Queensland Police Service this afternoon said there had been no update on the Yeppoon incident reported to police this morning.

QPS received two complaints after a woman was allegedly harassed by a man outside the Sailing Club.

The woman claimed the man pulled up beside her in his car and was masturbating, before stopping alongside other women running near the Surf Life Saving Club.

The Morning Bulletin understands no one has been charged.

INITIAL: A YEPPOON woman has a serious warning for the community today, following a disturbing alleged incident involving a young man masturbating in public.

In a post published on popular Facebook community page Yeppoon Families, the woman claimed a man harassed her outside the Yeppoon Sailing Club this morning.

The man, described as Caucasian in his late 20s, with dark hair, dark skin and a moustache, allegedly pulled up beside her in his car and was masturbating.

"Then I saw him stopping alongside women running near the life saving club,” the woman said.

"Just be careful.”

A second woman claimed she had witnessed a similar incident near the Yeppoon Skate Park.

A spokesperson from the Queensland Police Service today confirmed they had received two complaints regarding the incident this morning.

They said police were conducting inquiries.
