UPDATE: Passengers decline medical help
UPDATE 10.33AM: A QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service spokesperson has confirmed no one was injured when a vehicle and truck collided southbound on the Yeppen bridge.
Ambulance were called to the scene at 9.43am after reports of a car crashing into a B double truck.
Four patients were assessed, but all declined medical transport.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services attended the scene, but were not required to remove any passengers.
9.55AM: AMBULANCE and fire crews have arrived on scene at a crash involving a truck and car on the Yeppen bridge, southbound.
Further information indicates the truck driver is not injured, however QAS are assessing three people who were travelling in the car involved.
The incident is causing traffic congestion and police are directing traffic. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
BREAKING 9.45AM: EMERGENCY services are responding to a truck and car crash just outside of Rockhampton.
Initial reports indicate a truck and car have collided on the Bruce Hwy near the Yeppen roundabout.
Police are on scene directing traffic. Ambulance and fire crews are also responding.
It is unclear at this stage how serious the incident is.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area or expect delays.
