Update the record books

ST BRENDAN'S College held its annual swimming carnivals at the Cooee Bay Pool on Monday, February 6 (50 metre) and Friday, February 10 (25 metre).

In an exciting finish to the 50 metre carnival, Duhig house triumphed with Tynan house nipping at their heels.

The evening had plenty of highlights with the boys exhibiting great team spirit and comradeship.

With two new school records being set by Mitchell Barlow and Jeremy Walsh, competition was fierce in the battle for age champion with supremacy awarded to Clifford Timms (13 years), Mitchell Barlow (14 years), Jeremy Walsh (15 years), Cooper Bambling (16 years) and Darcy David (17 years)

The St Brendan's 25m swimming carnival was another hotly contested competition.

The 2012 Seniors showed fine style, sprinting down the pool in the final event to lay a solid foundation for Tynan House to win the day.

Thanks to parents, teaching staff and Cooee Bay staff for their support and hard work on the day.
