“OH my god, I'm so in love”.

This is how 15-year-old Chelsea Riley feels about her dream husband, American pop star Usher.

If the Rockhampton teen had it her way, she would wear a wedding dress to the Usher concert next year.

Chelsea, her mum Kaylene and best friend Shannon Clarke spent eight hours perched before computers and made five phone calls with 20-minute waiting periods on Monday trying to secure the ultimate “OMG VIP” tickets to the Usher concert down under.

After unsuccessful attempts to get the best tickets, the girls managed to secure silver-rated tickets for the Sydney gig, but decided to try their luck again later that night.

“We went online again at 11pm to try to get VIP tickets in Perth but we missed out. We were prepared to go anywhere to get to meet him,” Chelsea said.

Concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne sold out within minutes, and to meet demand more concerts were announced later.

For Chelsea, who has an Usher shrine in her bedroom, it was love at first sight when she first saw Usher perform You Got It Bad five or six years ago.

“Mum and Dad don't see the fascination but I think any Usher fan would agree that he is worth way more than anything, he is just, as he would say, ‘Oh my gosh',” Chelsea said.

“We just love him so much; he is such an idol.”

Chelsea's mum will take her and Shannon to the concert in Sydney on March 24.

“We are so pumped for it. We will have Usher blasting from the hotel room. I would wear a wedding dress if I was allowed,” Chelsea said with a laugh.
