UPDATE, 5PM: TWO MACKAY region men have been airlifted to Rockhampton hospital following a single vehicle rollover on the Bruce Hwy near Marlborough this morning.

The RACQ Capricorn Rescue have reported the men were pulled from the wreckage of their vehicle by emergency services shortly after 6am.

Both were airlifted to Rockhampton in a stable condition with injuries sustained during the crash.

One with a dislocated shoulder and the other with a laceration to the back of his head, also

suffering with back pain.

UPDATE 8AM: QUEENSLAND Police have confirmed that the two men involved in a Toyota Hilux roll over on the Bruce Highway north of Rockhampton would be airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital.

The crashed vehicle was reportedly “off the road” and “not creating a hazard for motorists”.

The crash scene was confirmed to be cleared at 8.50am.

INITIAL: EMERGENCY crews are on their way north of Rockhampton after a vehicle rolled on the Bruce Highway.

The crash occurred 10km north of St Lawrence around 6am.

Police crews were yet to arrive at the scene to confirm whether the road was blocked. Queensland Ambulance paramedics are assessing two patients.

A male in his 20s has suffered a shoulder injury and a male in his 60s received a head laceration.

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution.
