WAYNE Bennett says he is looking forward to returning to the Dragon's Kogarah home on Friday night where  he still has some special memories after taking the club to premiership glory in 2010.

Bennett said only one member of his current Broncos squad has played a game at Kogarah.

The Brisbane coach talked about a number of issues in his pre-game media conference at Red Hill including the impact the upcoming Origin series would have on the Broncos and Darius Boyd's stunning recovery from a ruptured Achilles that could see him play Origjn.

Three  players - fullback Lachlan Maranta, centre Justin Hodges who's returning from his latest hamstring injury and halfback Ben Hunt - all failed to complete training because of a virus.

All three however are expected to play on Friday night.
