Walcott guides Gunners in FA Cup quarter-final

FOOTBALL: Theo Walcott's 100th goal for Arsenal has helped the Gunners bring an end to Sutton United's fairytale run in the FA Cup.

The south London minnows were contesting their first ever fifth-round game, but Arsene Wenger's side proved too strong, coming away with a 2-0 victory at Gander Green Lane.

No less than 105 places separate the two teams in England's football pyramid, with Sutton sitting 17th in the fifth-tier National League.

Walcott added to Lucas Perez's 26th-minute opener turned in his milestone goal from close range in the 55th minute.

The Gunners set up a home quarter-final clash with another non-league team, Lincoln City, and returned to winning ways after their 5-1 drubbing by Bayern Munich last week .
