POLICE have released CCTV footage of a serious crash between a motorbike and a car last week in the hopes of contacting someone who witnessed the incident.

The crash happened on Gympie and Lutwyche Roads at around 3.20 pm on June 18.

Two motorcycles were travelling southbound along Gympie Road onto Lutwyche Road when one of the bikes went through the intersection of Kedron Park Road and collided with another vehicle.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the motorcycles travelling in company or anyone who may have seen the collision to contact them.

In particular, anyone who may have dashcam or other footage of the incident or who may have been on the pedestrian crossing at the time of the crash are urged to contact Policelink.

A 23-year-old male motorcycle rider involved in the crash remains in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition with serious leg injuries.
