JAMIE and Angela Azzopardi fought back tears yesterday as the smiles returned to their six children's faces for the first time in weeks.

When the Gracemere family lost everything in a house fire earlier this month the Showman's Guild teamed up with the Show Society to treat them to an all-expenses paid show experience.

Three days of rides, food and free showbags were made all the more sweet with the celebration of the Azzopadis' youngest child Lincoln's birthday.

"More than anything a smile on these kids' faces I haven't seen in weeks," Angela said of what the show had given the Azzopardi family.

"It's awesome to see these kids so excited and loving the fact they are at the show," Jamie said.

"We can't thank them enough, we are so grateful."

Also on the receiving end of the generous gift were the Corino family, who also lost their Depot Hill home in the same week.

With his kids at school, Damian plans to take them to the show today, and could not wait to share the news with them.

"The kids will be very excited, we didn't know what to expect," Damian said yesterday.
