The weather forecast that has got people talking

A WEATHER forecast posted to Higgins Storm Chasing has got people talking for an unusual reason.

The graphic posted to social media shows what the latest next 10-day European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts raw data ensemble low and cyclone forecast tracks look like.

"As you can see there are many variables but when coupled with other global models we have a pretty reasonable idea of when and where systems are likely to go," Higgins said.

But it isn't the weather that has people talking, rather the shape of the red lines showing the direction of the weather - depicting male genitalia.

"Saw the drawing, mind went to the gutter and came here for the comments…" Loretta Matthews said.

"Looks like this thing isn't dicking around," Matt Peteranec said.

"In breaking news, the west coast of Australia is about to get shafted," Scott Campbell said.
